Rajasthan state is leading to the path of growth with the new developments taking place. In the bypoll bound parliamentary constituency Ajmer, CM Raje has laid the foundation for dairy plant. The plant costs ₹ 252 crores. At this occasion, Vasundhara Raje also talked about allocated ₹ 6330 crores for development works in Ajmer alone. Chief Minister Raje also said that dairy industry will reach new heights with this project. Chief Minister of the state laid foundation for milk plant on 23 October, 2017.

During the ceremony of foundation laying of milk plant CM Vasundhara Raje said, “Our government has been working with sincerity to increase the income of milk producers and livestock farmers to make them prosperous and happy. In order to empower milk unions, the government will establish a fund of Rs 100 crore. This will help the milk producers to store more milk, and also the common man will get good quality milk at reasonable prices. This fund will provide direct benefits to 9 lakh milk producers of the state.”

This machinery will lead to on production of chocolate in Bhilwara and cheese in Bikaner. This dairy industry will help in increasing the income of milk producers and cattle raisers of Rajasthan. The government also plans to open Nandi Shala in each district of the state Raje spoke at this founding ceremony of milk plant.

Milk production in Rajasthan

In India, Rajasthan is amongst the top five milk producing states. With milk collection unions in 21 districts of the state Rajasthan Co-operative Dairy Federation (RCDF) is one of the biggest dairy co-operatives in the country. It has turnover of more than Rs 4,500 crore. Talking about Saras, milk brand of Rajasthan, is highly popular in the country. Saras is the highest paying milk co-operative in the country. It is also known that Rajasthan is only state in nation with cow ministry. In fact, the state has paid subsidy of ₹ 133 crores to gaushalas.
