CM Raje’s step towards a ‘Smiling Rajasthan’

Smiles are the most beautiful thing in life. It is the only thing which you give, that comes back to you. By the act of giving, we can do our bit of service by helping the needy.

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje,  in order to make Rajasthan a happier and healthier place to live. In her latest campaign ‘Smiling Rajasthan’, people can volunteer to help the needy ones in any form and then share the experience in the form of ‘Khushiyo wali Selfie (Selfie of Happiness)’ on her official Facebook, Twitter or Instagram handle using #SmilingRajasthan.

Making full use of social media, this campaign caters to the young and energetic youth of the state that will also prove beneficial for their self growth. By the simple act of giving, hundreds of poor and ailing people will have a reason to smile.

It’s easy to help a friend or a family member in need but it takes a lot of effort and patience to go out of your way to help a total stranger. This campaign is a step to spread awareness about the importance of humanity. Chief Minister herself takes time out whenever possible to visit hospitals, set up shelter homes and donate clothes to the needy. She also runs numerous campaigns on educating a girl child, keeping Rajasthan clean and providing medical assistance to the BPL families.

Under #SmilingRajasthan campaign, people will also have an opportunity to get an appreciation letter in their name signed by the Chief Minister herself. All you have to do it click a selfie while-

• Helping someone clean the roads or the nearby surroundings
• Feeding the hungry
• Donating books or related materials required for education
• Sponsoring a child’s education
• Sponsoring medical treatment for those who can’t afford it

The selfies will be shared on CM’s official Facebook page using #SmilingRajasthan
