Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje e-launched the 21 new branches HDFC bank in Rajasthan on Tuesday at Chief Minister’s residence.

Smt. Raje said benefit of the expansion of banking facilities will reach to the people of the state after opening of these new branches. She expected that HDFC bank will cooperate in successful implementation of various public oriented schemes of the state government. She asked HDFC bank to become partner with the state government in Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet being organised in the month of November in Jaipur.

The Chief Minister through e-launching opened the new branches at Mukundpura, Mahala, Jhotwara, Sambhar & Vatika in Jaipur district, Kanpur & Fatehnagar in Udaipur district, Uchiyarda in Jodhpur, Tatarpur & Bansur in Alwar, Jalkhera (Kota), Kherliganj(Baran), Shivsinghpura (Sikar), Makrana (Nagaur), Sanchore (Jalore), Kapasan (Chittorgarh), Sagawara (Dungarpur), Navalgarh (Jhunjhnu), Keshoraipatan (Bundi), Malpura (Tonk) and Sirohi. Out of these 21 branches 8 branches have been opened in banking less villages.

Senior Executive Vice President of HDFC bank Smt. Smita Bhargav gave details about the various activities of the bank.

Principal Secretary, Finance Shri Prem Singh Mehra, Secretary Planning Shri Akhil Arora, Regional Head of HDFC bank Shri Satyen Modi and other officials were present on this occasion.
