Let us tell you that the state education minister of Rajasthan Kali Charan Saraf lately has announced that the students who have voluntarily donated blood will from now onwards be given 1% bonus marks for getting admission in the state based colleges for post-graduation degree.
It has been announced in the new admission policy which has been released lately. Not just for blood donation but students can also fetch some bonus marks for their initiatives in book bank and literacy campaigns.
The minister said, “Students will have to present the proof certificates of three years of blood donation to avail the benefit. Those students who have helped turn three people literate in three years will have to show certificates from literacy department to avail the bonus marks. Those students who have donated their books to book banks every year in their college schedule will also get the benefit provided they show a letter from their respective college principal.”
