April 6 holds a great significance for Bhartiya Janta Party as it marks the foundation day of the party. For celebrating the BJP’s foundation day, various events will be organized by Rajasthan unit of BJP. There are only three days left for the event and party workers are quite excited. On this occasion, the BJP members will hoist the party’s flag on their own houses. To make the day more memorable, BJP’s headquarters is sending decorative items like party flag and bandarwal to all BJP ruled districts. Let’s get into details of the preparations of the event.

This time, the BJP will focus on celebrating at the booth level. BJP headquarters have directed all district presidents to take the meetings of the executive and general workers of district. There are directions to organize programs like booth meetings with beneficiaries as well as discussion on booth migration and power centers.

BJP representatives will put at least five hoardings given by the BJP’s headquarters in their respective areas. This celebration is undoubtedly a preparatory mark for the upcoming assembly elections.

Who will take part in the celebrations?
In all these programs MP, MLA, Municipal Council Chairman, UIT Chairman, Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti members, councilors, state office-bearers, members, district officials, former district presidents and former MLAs present will take part.

History of BJP Foundation Day

Originally known as Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was formed in 1951 by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. The Jana Sangh merged after 1977 emergency to form the Janta Party. On April 6 1980, BJP was founded after the Janta party dissolved.
