Recently, the Jaipur based Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti – BMVSS which is Jaipur based NGO helping handicapped people came into sight when Ethiopian president Dr. Mulatu Teshome eulogized the organisation for its works. The organisation has a huge base and is considered for its expertise in equipping of artificial limb and calipers. The idea and base was founded by Dr. Mehta in the year 1975. The corporation has reached to the capable grounds of providing free of cost ambulatory aids like wheel chairs and many other things.

The establishment run on the objective of making available rehabilitation to those who are physically underprivileged and do not have a consolidated support system. Doing this, the organisation aims to add the factor of productivity in their lives and make them capable enough to add something to society.

The organisation had organised two camps in Ethiopia which helped 700 handicapped people there. This pioneer step by Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS) was highly praised.

Dr. Teshome highly applauded the attempt and quoted it as an act of dignity for Ethiopian underprivileged people.

Patients with newly fitted Jaipur foot even gave demonstrations by walking, squatting and jumping. This was not less than a new life for people who can walk like all capable people now.
Anurag Shrivastav, India’s ambassador to Ethiopia who was a special guest happily mentioned that, the Jaipur foot camp in Ethiopia will not even arisen the bond among both the nations but will also help the people in other parts of the country.

Dr. Mehta even spoke about opening a separate established centre in Ethiopia. Previously the organisation has accomplished this mission in Mauritus, Afghanistan and many other countries.
He also mentioned that, till now two camps have been arranged in the country and 12 members from the family of BMVSS helped in it providing limbs without any charges.
