Rajasthan is under the auspicious grace of CM Raje’s skilled leadership which is becoming apparent with time. In these 3 years of Raje government’s tenure, state’s education and health levels have reformed and surfaced as self-sufficient areas of the state. If we give a close look, we will find many innovative schemes run by the Raje government which have played an important role in bringing Rajasthan to its current levels of recognition. Adarsh Vidhyalya Scheme is one example of those irreplaceable executions made by the Raje government. Under this scheme, the schools have don a new look with all the required facilities like clean water, computer labs and practical labs in school premises.
For this scheme, they have the target of covering 10,000 schools and converting them into completely equipped, self-sufficient schools. Currently, there are 9,895 schools preceding under this plan. Just like, any other private schools, state government has a vision of creating excellence in the education sector so that poor can have one level up gradation. The government is making sure that, every gram panchayat have at least one school equipped with all these modern facilities. These schools will have a strict regimentation of operation from morning 7 a.m. to evening 7 p.m. and will take care of all curricular activities including sports and cultural activities. By the end of March, 2017, state government will most probably finish 3097 schools under this scheme.
The scheme works on below ethos:
- Ample of teachers for all courses and classes.
- Enough number of playgrounds, classrooms, library, labs and toilets for girls and boys.
- Full-fledged schools equipped all necessities required for children’s all round development.
This step has been taken to elevate the state’s education levels. The results are apparent as the government schools have seen the hike of 21% in new enrollment in schools. This scheme will set new standards of education in Rajasthan where government schools will equipped with all elite facilities.
