In order to commemorate the completion of 4 years of BJP Rajasthan, the state-run schools and colleges have been asked to hold various competitions. These will include extempore speech and essay writing that will be based on the government’s flagship schemes.
Notably, BJP will complete 4 years in the state on December 13 and the government is aiming at getting the school and college students acquainted with its flagship schemes and policies. The principals have been asked to organize the competitions by December 20.
In colleges, the essay writing topics are ‘Bhamashah Yojna’ and ‘Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Yojna’ while extempore topics are ‘Mukhyamantri Rajhsri Yojna’, ‘Annapurna Rasoi Yojna’, and ‘Rajasthan Sampark Yojna’. As far as schools are concerned, suggested topics include SIQE (State Initiative for Quality Education), Anganwadi, and Bhamashah card have been suggested.
In schools, the competitions will be organized in two categories- for Classes 1 to 8 and for Classes 9 to 12. The education department is aiming at getting the students acquainted with important issues like the importance of toilets, girls’ education, child marriage, skill development, water conservation and social evils like child marriage, etc.
The aforementioned competitions will be held in all the state-run schools and colleges individually and then the winners will participate at the district level. The department has also instructed to publicize the competitions and submit a one-page report with photographs and videos of events.
