Indian Air Force has successfully test fired an advanced and improvised version of BrahMos land-attack supersonic cruise missile system today in the west of Rajasthan.
Officials said the flight was conducted early in the day today from one of the firing ranges in the western area of the arid state. The missile successfully hit and destroyed and wiped out the designated target.
CEO and MD of BrahMos Aerospace, Sudhir Mishra congratulated the Indian Air Force for this successful test firing and said, “BrahMos has proved its mettle once again as the best supersonic cruise missile system in the world.” DRDO chief S Christopher also congratulated the IAF, BrahMos team and DRDO the talented hard working scientists who were involved in the mission.
