The second day of CM Vasundhara Raje’s ambitious people-centric scheme ‘Aapka Zila Aapki Sarkar’ was full of surprises for government officers, Karauli public and the CM herself. Raje commenced her day by undertaking ‘surprise visits’ to village-based Aanganbadi center, Aadarsh Vidyalay, Karauli district hospital, areas struggling with water deficit and Annapurna Bhandars. To her surprise:
- The hospital was surrounded by a pile of garbage,
- Aanganbadi center distributed 250 grams less food mix in baby food packages
- Schools lacked proper labs and drinking water facilities
- Annapurna Bhandars charged high prices for domestic commodities and
- Tankers charged Rs 300 for distributing water to various neighborhoods.
Angered by the mismanagement on the part of Karauli administration, the CM probed an investigation regarding irregularities in different sectors. She sought a detailed report by Karauli collectorate. By the end of the day, she took strict decisions to prevent such incidents in future.
Parents should Take Strict Action Against Slackness in School
This Friday, CM Raje paid a visit to Aadarsh Uchh Prathmik Vidyalay (Aadarsh Primary High School) located in Gudla. The school was lacking in basic facilities like hygiene, hand pump, clean drinking water supply. The staff reported theft of computers and equipment from labs. Angered by the mismanagement the CM suspended Principal Bharadwaj. CM Raje requested the parents to report such incidents on Rajasthan government’s official complaint website “Rajasthan Sampark Portal”.
Following this, Raje requested an audience with education department heads. Senior education ministers Mr. Vasudev Devnani and Ms. Kiran Maheshwari arrived in Gudla to probe investigation against negligent school staff.
But that wasn’t all! The CM reprimanded Annapurna Bhandar owners to sell ration at fair prices and maintain registers for stock. She asked the villagers to get receipts from store owners after making a purchase.
She directed Karauli district hospital staff to get rid of garbage pile surrounding the hospital. The CM took this occasion to make big announcements for Karuali. In the coming days, the district will get–
- New Gramin Gaurav Path in 44 Gram Panchayats and Missing link roads in 30 Gram Panchayats.
- New police station in Daulpura’s Sapotra.
- Proper drinking water facilities through 7 newly constructed water reservoirs.
- Mandrayan-Karauli Bypass.
Additionally, the CM has employed a special bench of ministers to investigate the pending rent agreements of red sandstone and silica mines in Dhaulpur and Karauli within 7 to 10 days. Moreover, the CHC (community health center) in Kudgaon will be merged into a PHC (Public health center) soon. The Karauli collectorate has been instructed to repair demolishing Aanganbadi centers soon. The detailed reports and photographs of these projects will be sent to CMO after completion.
This is how ‘Aapka Zila Aapki Sarkaar’ brought happy days for Karauli again!
