The highly prestigious scheme of Vasundhara Raje, ‘Aapka Zila, Aapki Sarkar’ kickstarted recently on May 11 and has already accomplished results beyond expectations, given that CM Raje is a proactive leader.
From paying surprise visits, conducting feedback meetings to passing on benefits to the last man in the lane, this scheme has only impressed us all the way.
After assuming chair in 2013, Vasundhara Raje formulated this scheme for the benefit of locals living in small districts like Karauli. This programme aims at abridging the gap between what locals get and what they deserve. CM Raje personally went to hospitals and schools to assess the quality of services provided to the people.
Vasundhara Raje reprimands officials
She paid surprise visits to many venues like hospital’s labour room, Operation Theatre, Annapurna Rasoi, Anganwadi amongst other places. In cases of deficiency of services or poor service delivery, CM Raje reprimanded the concerned officials without any hesitation. CM Raje directed officers to deliver better services, serve value for money to the customer and stop adulteration or trade malpractices.
CM Raje paid a surprise visit to Aanganbadi Kendra Gudla II where she tested ‘Baby Food packets’ weighing 750 gm (as printed on it). On close examination and weighing the packets, it was found that the packets contained only 520 gm of baby food. Quantum of 250 gm was not being supplied to the final customer. This instantly infuriated CM Raje, who immediately called the Women and Child Development Minister Anita Badhel. CM Raje exhorted her to revoke the existing tender.
