They have a tale of initial failures and rising high in the climax. Three minor school students from Jaipur have received a funding of Rs. 3 crore for “Infusion Beverages”, which is their startup company. The 10th std. students from Neerja Modi school, Mrigank Gujjar, Chetanya Golechha and Utsav Jain have become buzz of the town with their effective yet sorted formula of flavoured drinks. In the month of April, their school had arranged a entrepreneurship fest which proved to be a turning point of their lives.
During this, they had to impress judges with their business model. One of the achiever, Chetanya Golechha, explained it like, “Our presentation of the product failed to impress the judges in the fest. We were kicked out in the first round. Though we were out of the competition in the first hour but got the order of delivering 150 flavoured water bottles”.
After receiving their order of 150 bottles, they embraced the opportunity with both the hands and turned their dream into a moving reality.
With great intentions, comes great admirations. That’s what these guys savoured here and for a year long period they worked on the journey of creating the product to taking it to the investors.
To their success tail, Mrigank Gujjar added, “We carried out intense research on Google to prepare a healthy drink without sugar and soda. But soon we realized that turning an idea into reality is not easy when you are a minor. Procuring the licence, necessary permissions from the food department and approval from FSSAI, are a herculean task. As we were minors our parents sought the permission on our behalf”.
Till the month of January, these aspiring students have sold 8,000 flavoured water bottles, in flavours of rose, bel and kewra.
In the month of January, they had a meeting with an investor in Indore, who is ready to infuse an amount of Rs. 3 crore in their plant setup. The students will be responsible for marketing and research in this and their plant will have its ground base in Indore.
