Rajasthan is treading on the path of providing standardised education to the youth of the state. Many efforts and schemes like Dev Narayan scheme, Rajshree yojana and Shubh Lakshmi among many others have been pioneered in the state to spur education drive.
Amidst all these initiatives, the Sriganganagar district administration has commenced career orientation programs at government run hostels stationed across the district.
This initiative will not only help students crack competitive exams but also render their intellectual abilities along with polishing their academic skills. A two-hour career orientation programme at every hostel, bolstering each student to render academic excellence.
In addition to this, the district administration will distribute competitive examination books to all students. The concerned officials will also ensure that they read an English newspaper daily.
District collector said, “Our objective is to help students to have a good career. This programme will be conducted at every hostel run by the state social justice and empowerment (SJE) department.”
Ram added, “During the programme, officials from the Rajasthan skill and livelihood development corporation, a psychologist and examinations expert will be present. In addition the newly selected officers will also motivate students and apprise them about how to prepare for competitive examinations.”
“Students from read English newspapers along with Hindi dailies. Once they get used to reading English it will be easy for them to crack examinations”, Ram added.
The State government’s skill development is on an incredible spree of fastracking education facilities and intellectual resources for children, categorically from Class 5 – Class 10. A plethora of technical courses have been initiated in this regard.
The developments are centred towards ensuring that all children undergo holistioc development and prosper in their lives with flying colours.
