Newborns to Receive the Gift of ‘Milk’ at Bharatpur
Rajasthan government has elaborate plans to safeguard health and immunity of the newborns. Seeing the massive success of clinical mother banking, they’ve decided to invest in community milk banks. Accordingly, the first state-level community milk bank was launched at Bharatpur. It was set up at District women hospital, under divisional head quarters. In case of mother’s sickness or critical condition, their young ones don’t have to wait for milk. They’ll receive the same love and nourishment from these milk banks. If this scheme becomes a hit, Rajasthan government may implement it in other divisions, as well.
