The Congress is unable to detach its chord with controversies. A video is in the air today in which the senior Congress leader B D Kalla is seen halting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ slogans to raise chants of ‘Sonia Gandhi’ and ‘Rahul Gandhi’, along with the names of other Congress heavyweights. Consequently, Kalla on Monday was forced to leave a marriage function in the Bikaner over the issue.
In the video, supporters of Congress leader B D Kalla in Bikaner chanted slogans of ‘Sonia Gandhi zindabad’ and ‘Rahul Gandhi zindabad’ after being stopped midway from chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ by Kalla on Sunday night.

Later on Monday, he went to attend a marriage function in the city where the Mali community opposed him. People around him started shouting pro-Yashpal Gehlot slogans followed by ‘Rahul Gandhi Murdabaad!’, and ‘Mali Samaaj Zindabaad!’.Thereafter, Kalla had to flee on a bike.

It is known that Kalla was given the ticket by canceling Yashpal Gehlot’s declared ticket in the first list by the Congress party. Yashpal Gehlot was shifted to Bikaner west but lost that too due to 2 Rameshwar Dudi.
