This increase in the number of patients created an alarming situation in the state of Rajasthan. It is very important for Rajasthan health department to control the situation. Precautionary measures taken by government
To make people aware about the disease, the state health department has issued a toll free helpline number with a dedicated team of doctor. Toll free helpline number is 1800 180 6127 for Zika control, prevention, medical consultation and other necessary information. To get medical consultation, anyone can call on Toll free number between 8 am and 8 pm.
Apart from the given Toll free number, the work on controlling the cases of Zika virus started. There is already a central control room working against the disease. The team from state health department is conducting survey, doing screening and holding anti-larvae activities and mosquito containing activities in affected area. In fact, doctors asked for public participation to control virus spread. Without public participation, prevention is not possible.
