Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Parakram Parv at the Combined Commanders’ Conference in Jodhpur today. BJP government organized the event to mark the second anniversary of the surgical strike, carried out by the Indian army. The Parakram Parv is being observed between 28-30 September.
The Parakram Parv, an exhibition, commemorates the second anniversary of the surgical strike. The exhibition is being organized by the Konark Corps at the Jodhpur Military station. In addition to that, the Parakram Parv celebrated the valor and accomplishments of the India Army.
Our Army showcased the gallantry when the surgical strikes conducted on terrorist launce pads in POK in 2016. Hence the state and the central government jointly planned to celebrate the anniversary as Parakram Parv.
CM Vasundhara Raje, MoD Nirmala Sitaraman, NSA Ajit Dobhal, Army Chief Bipin Rawat, Air Marshal BS Dhanoa, Naval Chief Sunil Lamba were also present at the event on Friday. At the same time, the senior commanders and the other top officials of the Defense Ministry participated in the event.
Highlights of the Parakram Parv celebration in Jodhpur
Indian Armed Forces have always bought laurels to the nation. Their contribution to war and peace is of immense value to every Indian. The principal event has celebrated at India Gate, Rajpath in New Delhi.
On Thursday, Army and Security forces held a full-dress rehearsal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Visit. Security forces checked the security arrangement in the military area.
PM Modi inaugurated the exhibition at the Konark Corp military station where the various arms and weapons are being displayed. The exhibition will run from 28-30 September and is open for the visitors.
Later, PM Modi visited the Konark War memorial where he paid the homage to the martyrs. Therefore PM Modi addressed the joint military commander conference of the three armed forces at Jodhpur Air Force station.
On the other hand, the defense ministry has released another video footage of the surgical strike. PM Modi with Parakram Parv and the defense ministry with the video gave a tough answer to the opposition who has been questioning the surgical strike.
