Apart from these, flowers are used for enhancing the beauty of women. Some flowers can be consumed also. Recently, the state of Rajasthan got its first flower mandi in Jaipur. Know more.
On Tuesday, Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Prabhu Lal Saini Tuesday inaugurated the state’s first flower mandi in Muhana, Jaipur. In fact, this is the country’s biggest flower Mandi. Here, 144 shops have been allotted to traders. It has been constructed in 8 bigha of land.
During inauguration ceremony, Prabhu Lal Saini said that the mandi would benefit farmers, traders and consumers. On this occasion, the minister highlighted the achievements of Agriculture department saying several initiatives were taken in the agriculture sector which made Rajasthan a progressive state in the field of agriculture.
Apart from flower mandi, he also laid the foundation stones of dome covering (shelter) in vegetable and potato blocks and one park in the Muhana mandi. In fact, a park is also inaugurated in Muhana Mandi.
