Rajasthan’s CM Vasundhara Raje is all set to launch a wonderful scheme after huge success of Annapoorna Rasoi. For the students studying in government school, ’Annapurna Milk Scheme’ will be launched from July 2.Under this scheme, students up to 8th standard will be given milk. It is informed by Minister of Education Vasudev Devnani.

Under this special scheme, children studying from class one to five will be given to 150ml milk and students of class 6 to 8 will be provided in 200 ML schools in government schools. There are almost 80000 government schools in Rajasthan where more than 8500000 students are studying. This scheme is meant to provide nutrition to kids who cannot afford milk. The milk distribution will be done under the guidance of the school management committees.
Other schemes for welfare of kids
For the welfare of kids, there is mid-day meal scheme run by Rajasthan. In this scheme, students from class 1 to 5 studying in government schools will be given lunch. In this meal, nutrition content will be taken care of. In fact, every day students get different food to eat. This scheme is being run in state since year 2010.
