Gajendra Singh, Rajasthan Industries Minister on Monday said that land for almost 70 per cent of the MoUs (Memoranda of Understandings) which were signed in November during the second season of Resurgent Rajasthan summit last year had been identified.
“Out of the 470 MoUs signed during the Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit held in Jaipur in November last year, land has been identified for as many as 328 projects,” Singh said, during a review meet at the Secretariat on Monday.
The minister said, “While a strong MoU monitoring mechanism has been devised to ensure seamless and rapid conversion of investment intent, various departments must make further efforts for a methodical and time-bound approach to bring the investment on ground.”
“While the Industries Department will play a pivotal role in coordinating the implementation of MoUs, the respective departments need to monitor the cases effectively,” he said.
