The Governor of Rajasthan, Kalyan Singh has passed an order for all the Universities of the state instructing all the Vice-Chancellors to hoist the tricolor by November 30 this year. At the Vice-Chancellors Committee meeting which was attended by Kalyan Singh, concluded with the instructions of installing statues of Swami Vivekananda and also come up with their respective university anthems, for those which don’t have one already, by November 30.
An initiative of installing solar plants at the university campuses was also being instructed. Also, he laid emphasis on the filling the vacant posts in the faculty of universities. He said that any irregularities in the recruitment process of the teaching or non-teaching staff would be dealt with seriously.
