It is a great way to improve the level of education in the state of Rajasthan. When students get better education facilities nearby then they will more interest in studying and going to schools. The state government has issued orders for the upgradation of 450 state schools. Vasudev Devnani, the Minister of State for Education said that 6238 posts have also been created separately by the State Government. Under the budget declaration of 2018-19, CM Raje had ordered upgradation of schools and the process will start from 2018-19.

It is believed that this upgradation of schools will help the children of remote areas to get more opportunities for education. This will also lead to creation of more employment opportunities.

Under the implementation scheme, 374 higher primary schools will be upgraded to government secondary schools and 76 government secondary schools will be upgraded to government higher secondary schools.
After upgrading the higher Primary School to the State Secondary School, the existing head teacher in the school, senior teacher working at the post of State High Primary School will be accommodated on the rank of senior teacher of their subjects.
In the first year of upgradation of higher primary schools to government secondary schools, first 9th class and in second year 10th class will be started. Under the process of upgradation of government secondary schools to government higher secondary schools, in the first year class 11th and in second year class 12th will be started.
