Bhilwara is one among the 19 other districts of the arid state Rajasthan which are facing drought like condition. It is of no surprise that during the summers the state turns apparently very hot and dry making many places absolutely dehydrated.
State government no doubt tries the level best to overcome such issues every single year, but the nature just gets worse each time such a situation occurs. Reports from the Revenue Department says, out of 44672 villages in the state approximately 17000 villages are facing water scarcity and are labeled ‘famine-affected areas’
Apart from Bhilwara, districts like Ajmer, Nagaur, Hanumangarh, Jalore, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jhunjhunu, Baran, Jaipur, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Pali, Churu, Banswara, Rajsamand, Pratapgarh and Udaipur are the other districts under the threat of drought.
