SpiceJet starts it services between Jaipur and Varanasi, and Jaisalmer and Delhi which will boost the aviation in Rajasthan state. On Saturday, Chief Minister of state Vasundhara Raje made a formal announcement of the routes. She further added that improved air connectivity will definitely give a boost to Rajasthan tourism.

The services of SpiceJet flights linking Jaipur-Jaisalmer-Delhi and Jaipur-Varanasi was inaugurated on 29 October. Apart from Jaipur-Jaisalmer-Delhi and Jaipur-Varanasi, there are three more flight would be starting. Rajasthan will get other flights connecting Jaisalmer to Delhi, Jodhpur to Delhi and Udaipur to Mumbai.

On October 29, SpiceJet’s Bombardier Q400 aircraft – SG 2981 was flagged off from Jaipur at 11 am for its first flight to Jaisalmer. The flight between Jaipur and Varanasi flight was departed on the same day.

At the press conference, Ajay Singh, Managing Director of Spicejet praised the efforts and measures of CM Raje for the growth of the state. He felt grateful for the support of Raje government for expansion of Spicejet in Rajasthan.
