25th March is the last day of Chaitra Navratri 2018. The last day of Navratri is observed as Ram Navami. Since it is also the last day of Navratri, this day holds a great significance in the lives of Hindus. This day is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ram (Lord Rama). Lord Ram is the divine incarnation of Lord Vishnu. According to Hindu calendar, this festival falls on ninth day of Shukla Paksha.

How to celebrate the festival?
The festival of Ramnavami is observed to celebrate harmony and peace amongst people. On this day, people chant of each planetary mantra for 108 times and do 108 paaths of the Ram Raksha Strota. People perform various rituals on this day like recital of the Ramayana or reading Shrimad Bhagvatam. Many people offer prayers or organize bhajan sandhya on the birthday of lord Ram.
