A multitude of personalities have ruled diversified lands of India in the past years. With such a heavy baggage of castes, one is bound to indulge in prejudice and also exercise favouritism. Only a few handful possess the potential to balance their efforts towards empowering casts on an indiscriminatory basis. One such inspirational political face is Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje who carries a heavy baggage of castes yet demarcates a fair and justified prosperity for one and all. This is one of the many reasons which makes her an indomitable leader, which she indubiously is.

Well, we are still in awe at how political turbulences have occurred in her journey and how meticulously she has overcome every setback, leaving no stones unturned towards ensuring prosperity and equality for all casts and creeds. This is real leadership which continues to inspire us unabatedly.

The past has been an unbeatable testimony to events when opposition has framed up needless claims accusing the incumbent for poor governance.  The opposition leaders have slammed Raje government of snatching rights from Rajput leaders. However, as opposition would have it, the fact of the matter abruptly falsifies opposition’s claim.

When she first stepped into Rajasthan politics, she dropped her royal surname ‘Scindia’ that was her first ticket to fame and fortune. By confining her surnames to family albums, Raje the ‘outsider tag’ and dedicated herself to the welfare of Rajasthan society, including all 36 communities.

Driven by the strong desire to serve Rajasthan and it’s people, Raje entered Rajasthan politics after secluding herself from the powerful surname of ‘Scindia’, which is a dream come true for every civilian.

No matter what accusation the opposition may level against Raje, we can’t ignore her consistent role in representing Rajput families as well as other communities, all at the same time. This is why she is where she is. While the opposition is idle, they resort to dirty methods of defaming the unbeatable Raje, whose charm and valour to fight for her people is much more powerful than

Unlike other Rajasthan politicians like Ashok Gehlot, C.P. Joshi or Kirodi Lal Meena who represent a particular clan, Raje has ushered in an environment of love and brotherhood amongst various castes, thereby plummeting the animosity, bringing it to a threshold level.

Being the opportunists that opposition is, they are always searching for chances to baselessly take a dig at the incumbent. With their open mouths but closed minds, these opposition leaders have only aggravated the pains of various castes including the Rajputs.

The trouble with the Rajputs is not as large as the opposition tries to exaggerate and spice it up, thereby engendering mental agony and agitation. All of which has ceased peace of mind for all.

The induction of Olympic medallist Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Sanwar Lal Jat in Rajasthan politics was a big game-changer that has turned the Rajput families in favour of Rajasthan BJP. Her efforts gradually gained the respect of Padmini Devi, the forerunner of Maharani Gayatri Devi’s clan and several royal families came to support Raje during here election campaigning in 2013.

This was all about the past. At present, Rajasthan cabinet includes 21 Rajput MLAs (under BJP) and 3 MPs (all BJP), which is a powerful number in itself. And it’s not just the political front, the CM had diverted her attention to the social and cultural aspects too.

Raje’s efforts breathed life into Weir fort, Deeg fort, Rana Sanga Smarak, Safed Mahal, Mauborda and Gagron forts– all important landmarks in Rajputana history, which were neglected by Rajasthan Congress during its 10-year tenure. Perhaps because they were too busy working on the ‘representation of Rajputs in their cabinet’.

Rather than focusing on a particular region, Raje took an initiative to revive and establish the glory of Kumbalgarh, Udaipur and Mewar districts in real life. The Maharana Pratap Gaurav Kendra and Surajmal Panorama were two such examples that spread the glorious tales of Rajputana warriors far and wide.

The opposition boasts of having done multitude of works, without having done even a fraction of it. Contrarily, Raje does more work and claims less. This is what demarcates a real leader from the one who had incidentally enetered into politics, without any heart-felt desire to empower people.

As far as my memory goes, Raje had contributed immensely towards the betterment of the State, especially the Rajputs. Not only this, her devoted efforts were greatly acknowledged by Padmini Devi and Sawai Man Singh II, the descendents of late Maharani Gayatri Devi of Jaipur. The royal couple encouraged Raje in all her initiatives.

As time passed, more Rajput leaders followed the suit. Members of royal families like Rohini Kumari (Karauli), Diya Kumari (Jaipur) and Sidhi Kumari (Bikaner) took her in confidence, thereby carving an unprecedented niche for Rajputs in the pages of modern Indian politics.

From past to present, Raje has been unstoppable towards engendering full support to the Rajput community. Lately, Raje also contributed greatly towards restoring the majestical Kumbhalgarh Fort and the alluring Maharana Pratap’s Gaurav Kendra and more alike.

After having received a triumphant mandate in 2013, Raje ensured that her cabinet housed people from all walks of life, irrespective of their creed or caste, unlike many other leaders who appoint cabinet members in a biased fashion. Raje boasts of a comprehensive cabinet including 3 Rajput MPs and 28 Rajput MLAs.

All said and done, what Raje she has done for Rajputs is commendable and there are absolutely no questions about it. Raje has provesd that she’s a real Rajput at heart who empowers them by choice.

Raje is an epitome of devoted conviction and dedication towards serving the state. She is called a people’s leader for a good reason. We will continue to support her in her bold endeavours as what she does is for a cause. An impeccable leader, a marvel visionary makes her our first and last choice.
