PM’s Income Declaration Scheme received a mediocre response from Rajasthan. To rectify this plain reaction and gain more attention, IT Dept decided to arrange a “run for nation building” this Sunday. It included seven cities all in all, and the main motive behind this run was to ensure maximum awareness about PM’s Income Declaration Scheme among the clans of black money holders as well as tax evaders.

The cities in which this run was conducted are namely, Ajmer, Alwar, Bikaner, Kota, Jaipur, Jodhpur & Udaipur. Participants from IT Dept, military, youth happily included themselves in this run which commenced at 6:30 in the morning from Amar Jawan Jyoti till Ramniwas Bagh.

Successful participation of around 7000 citizens from state’s capital and 1500 from Jodhpur was witnessed. Distance of 5 Kms was covered by all of them who hailed from various economic sectors of the state. Runners were wearing shirts with slogans like: “I Pay My Tax, Do You” and “Bharo Tax, Karo Relax”.
