For Rajasthanis, the connectivity to Mysore will become better. Udaipur – Mysuru Palace Queen Humsafar Express, will be flagged off by PM Modi which connects Mysore and Udaipur. This is the second train that will run between Udaipur and Mysore. The train will come under North Western Railways.
This train will start from Udaipur at 9:00 p.m. on Mondays to reach Mysore at 14:25pm on Wednesday. This train will start from Mysore at 15:30 pm on Thursday to reach Udaipur at 4:55am on saturday. The train will stop at Mandya, Bengaluru, Davanagere, Hubballi, Belagavi, Miraj, Pune, Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Chittorgarh. These are timings on the inauguration of the train. It may change for regular trips.
Features of the train
The train has 18 coaches out of which 16 are of 3 Tier AC. It is an air-conditioned train. The starting fare is Rs. 2,032. This is a premium train introduced by the government. Inside the train, the passengers will experience better amenities like improved and hygienic toilets and a GPS-based passenger information system.
