Swine flu didn’t leave any less than 100 lives untouched in Maharashtra and now it’s spreading hazardously in Rajasthan. Rajasthan health authorities have gone alarmed over the buzz of swine flu in the state.

Shockingly, in last three days, 17 people are facing positive test results in the state. State’s health authorities are just hoping that it does not turn into an epidemic like in Maharashtra.

They are in the daily monitor process of this notoriously harmful disease.

A critical patient suffering from it was moved to Swai Man Singh Hospital , Jaipur. DR. C L Nawal, the head of the department of general medicine, SMS hospital mentioned, “We have put him on ventilator. His condition is critical. Due to swine flu, his lungs have been affected”.

Also, the other serious patient of the disease has been given the ventilator support at the hospital. Also, a third person is running into heavy treatment in ICU.

Two of the patients will be moved to the ward after the treatment and they are running fine now. Dr. Nawal have also mentioned that swine flu virus has many complexities and is a combination of avian, swine and human viruses. It also has a complex behaviour.

Dr. Ajit Singh, who is hosiptal’s additional superintendent mentioned, “Over the past three days, we have admitted five patients.”

Dr. Singh assured that they have all the facilities which also diagnostic and treatment facilities for swine flu patients. He also mentioned, “We admitted a patient who was shifted from a private hospital today”.

 

Chief medical health officer, Dr. Narottam Sharma mentiond, “It’s quite unusual for swine flu cases to be reported at a time when the temperature is hovering over 40 degree Celsius. Flu cases usually start being reported during winters and they come down when the summer arrives. But, this year, cases are being reported in the summer too.”

The health experts said that the swine flu virus becomes more toxic and active at the time of weather change. This is becoming quite mandatory for masses to take necessary measures for their care.
