In a recent report, the Minister of State of Education Vasudev Devnani revealed as to how the Rajasthan education system is gradually turning into an example for the rest of the country to follow. Realizing that the new technology and e-content have become the need of the hour, the education department of the state has braced itself to promote hi-tech amenities like virtual classrooms and smart classes.

Mr. Devnani addressed the five-day training held at Regional Learning Institute on Pushkar Road, Ajmer on Sunday. The event was organized by the Department of Educational Technology in order to promote the construction and use of e-content. Mr. Vasudev urged that participation of teachers along with Rajasthan Education Department should make maximum use of e-learning and ICTC. He also pointed out that the modern education system is experiencing the era of Four Ts which will lead Rajasthan to the top in terms of country’s education. These are:

• Transformation

• Teamwork

• Transparency

• Technology

Owing to this transformation, the mindsets of guardians and parents are also changing. Reportedly, 35 lakh parents have acknowledged the changes taking place at government schools by engaging themselves at parent-teacher meetings and teacher-guardian committees. Moreover, the highly-qualified and experienced teachers are also helping a lot in making the progress.

Talking about the teachers’ training, Minister Devnani also revealed that inclusion of technology and digitization will be promoted. As all the teachers are not well-versed with the concept of e-content and smart classes, it’s important to train them so that they can impart the knowledge to the students. Well, the way Rajasthan government is promoting e-learning in schools, it’s an indication that the state is headed towards becoming the undisputed champion of education in the country.
