The unmatchable Holi festival will have a special welcome in Rajasthan. This time, the railways will be running trains from pink city, Jaipur to Katihar to make way for added rush during the Holi festival. The train, Sarai Rohilla,  will have its move from Jaipur to Delhi for sixdays a week. The train’s departure time will be 7.55 AM and it will be reaching Sarai Rohilla station the very same day at 1.20 PM.

Apart from Thursday, the train will have its run from March 10 to March 19. While returning, the train will have its departure from Sarai Rohilla station at 2.30 PM and by 7.55 PM, it will touch Jaipur outskirts.

The train will have three AC chair car, 10 chair sar and three general coaches. This special train will reach Gandhi Nagar Jaipur, Getore Jagatpura, Bandikui, Dausa, Rewari, Alwar, Gurgaon and Delhi station.

Apart from this, the railways will also run special train on Holi occasion which will run from New Delhi station to Katihar. The timings have been decided from 11.45 PM to 6.15 AM, from March 10 to March 12.

On the return way, the special train will have its stretch from Katihar to New Delhi. It will depart on March 12th  at 9.15 AM and will reach New Delhi at 3.30 PM.

This train will be equipped with an AC-2 coach, AC-3 coach, one general class and 13 sleeper coaches. The stoppage stations will be Lucknow, Kanpur, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Barauni, Naugachhia and Khagaria and will be enrouted to both the directions.

While, we can say that, Rajasthan’s standards of living have been elevated in these three years, the state govt. has also played an important role in cherishing the grand backdrop of Rajasthan. Providing convenience to people on festivals is not a new thing but this is quite an innovative move towards the betterment.
