Dharmveer Yadav, a Rajasthan resident reportedly died in a car accident in Dehradun on 27 November 2009. He was an Indian Army soldier and went missing after the accident as a result of which everyone thought he probably died. And when he didn’t return for years, it was confirmed that he died in that car accident. The Indian Army force too presumed that he is dead and started giving his family the pension in his name.

It might seem to you like a movie script but trust us this is real. He didn’t die in that car accident but lost his memory and thus couldn’t return back. He was then again hit by a motorcycle last week when his memory came back again. He was wandering on the streets of Haridwar when he got hit by the motorcycle. He received mild injuries on his head which brought back his memory. The motorcycle driver gave him 500 rs with which he was able to come back to his home in Behror, Rajasthan. Well, we can imagine what his family might have felt seeing him after so many years.

Dharmveer’s father, who is also an ex-serviceman opened the door when he reached his home. He said, “After second or third knock, I realised that I was not dreaming and rushed to the door. I went numb after seeing my son who for us was dead. I could not even utter a word. My elder son and his wife also came and brought Dharmveer and me into the room. No one could believe that he had returned.”
