Rajasthan Railways are famous for its hospitality and royal treatment to its passengers. The two luxury trains of Rajasthan naming, Palace on Wheels and Royal Rajasthan on Wheels are famous among the foreign passengers for comfort and richness. As this Independence Day would be coming with a long weekend, the Rajasthan Railways has planned for a semi-luxurious train tour for everyone which would pick the passengers from Delhi and take them to the famous religious and historical places of Rajasthan. The major cities covered in the tour are Udaipur, Ajmer, Chittorgarh, and Pushkar.
This would be a special trip organized for this Independence Day weekend only and would start from August 12 to August 16. The picking up station would be Safdarjung Railway Station.
The other details of the program are:-
- The package will be an all inclusive price. It will include travel by air-conditioned vehicles, housekeeping and security arrangements.
- The deal is offered at a price of Rs. 29,000 for second AC and Rs. 35,000 for first AC travel for four nights/five days’ package.
- The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is also offering a 10% discount to the first 25 bookings as well as many attractive discounts for groups.
