Kalyan Singh, the Governor of Rajasthan while addressing the first convocation of Agriculture University in Jobner said that there is a need to focus on innovation when it comes to farming in the state. He said that proper research shall be done to benefit the state farmers and to tackle them out of issues like drought, poor farming techniques, poor crop etc. He said that this can only be done possible by the agricultural scientists and students.

He said, “I understand the pain of a farmer. For the prosperity of a farmer, basic amenities like electricity, water and road infrastructure are necessary.”

Further talking about the farmer needs he emphasised on providing pakka house to every farmer and better farming facilities. Also, in his speech at the university he said that there shall be proper different specialised course in agriculture business.
