Self defense training for the girls of Jodhpur will soon start from this summer. Rajasthan High Court’s legal service authority has taken this decision of organizing self-defense regime for the girls of the area.
The camps will be organized for one hour on the daily basis during the morning hours. These camps will be organized at the sports ground of three chief government girls school between the date May 10th and June 30th. The connoisseurs and experts holding vast pool of knowledge on self-defense techniques will provide training to girls for 50 days.
G K Vyas, the chairman of the authority detected that the cases of eve teasing and molestation of women and girls are on hype. Living in a civil society, scenarios like this are unacceptable.
The only way out is providing some physical tricks to give a protection to girls from all the evil elements. The authorities also decided to run self-defense learning camps for free of cost for the girls.
Diverse defense activities like karate, Judo, Boxing, Nan-chaku handling and stick fighting will be taught to girls. These will include both defense and attack techniques.
Dheeraj Sharma, the deputy secretary of Rajasthan State Legal Service Authority mentioned that the camps will have much more than just self-defense trainings.
Many experts of activities like Karate, Judo, Boxing, Nan-Chaku handling and stick fighting will provide extensive trainings to girls.
Sharma said, “Besides self-defence techniques, we will also be holding legal awareness sessions for the girls so that they could know about their legal rights as a woman and take help from the authority in case of any need”.
Where Rajasthan is elevating in technological advancement, girls protection and defense in the state is also seeing an extensive deployment.
From May 10th, girls in Jodhpur will gear up for the world-class self dense program.
