City’s Swachh campaign is running on positive grounds and even received positive response from almost 11,009 dwellers through Jaipur Swachh App.

The app was launchsed 10 days back by the Jaipur Municipal Corporation and has already got 2,030 complaints via mobile app. Out of this number, 1,277 complaints have already been registered.

As mentioned by official, the app is flexible to run on iOS and Android both and aiming a convenient waste collection from the support of citizens. Swachh Sarvekshan 2017 is already on roll from January 4th and JMC is all ready to make points after reconsidering sanitation problem via this mobile app. The app is linked to Swachh Survekshan by ministry of urban development  and the civic body is all ready to consider all ways to satisfy the citizens in terms of cleanliness. Out of 2,000 points, 300 totally depend on the complaints reconsidered and feedback from public.

A senior level JMC official mentioned, “Out of 1,277, we have resolved 583 complaints within the timeframe. The redressal of remaining complaints was also done by the JMC. We request residents to provide the feedback as it would help the Jaipur city to attain good position in the Swachh ranking. It has been observed that many residents do not provide their feedback after the redressal of their complaints. For every satisfactory feedback, JMC could secure two points, while on neutral feedback one point will be received”.

The official also mentioned, with the help of this app, anyone can click picture of spotted garbage clutter and send it to JMC. With the help of GPS, the location and time of the garbage spot will automatically shared. The corporation runs a staff in the back-end who will be informed about the garbage information and then they will escalate it further to municipal officials.

An official mentioned, “Till date, the JMC has received feedback from 514 residents , out of which 274 residents have shown satisfactory and 32 neutral response. Residents can comment on other user complaints too”.
