Jaipur will host ‘Smart City Expo India 2018’ which is going to be held from September 26 to September 28. This three-day event is to be held at Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC), Sitapura. This event will showcase the innovation in the space of smart city globally. Who all will participate?
At this event, industry experts, policy makers, companies, innovators, entrepreneurs, research centers and representatives from across the globe will gather for the conference. The delegates from more than as 20 countries across the globe will be part of the event.
Motive of the event
The objective of the Conference is to provide a platform for interaction and exchange knowledge and ideas of technology showcased. The delegates will discuss the solutions in terms of urban planning, social development, smart destinations, clean tech and circular economy and smart village.
As per the reports, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Union minister of state for housing and urban affairs Hardeep Singh Puri are also likely to be part of the opening ceremony.

In this event, technical sessions, open sessions and keynote speeches will held. Startups, business entrepreneurs, digital Innovators, Research Centers, Universities, Civil Society Representatives, NGO’s, public and private sector consortiums, and social activists will be given awards for their ideas and solutions for effective management and development of urban and semi-urban areas.
