After the Supreme Court’s verdict on firecrackers, firecracker manufacturers and dealers in Jaipur are happy. They are happy as the apex court didn’t impose blanket ban on crackers. The Apex court allowed the selling of ‘green firecrackers’ (which are less polluting). This decision brought a great sigh of relief to the people in firecrackers business. However, the verdict is out but the decision is still not implemented in Rajasthan.

Although SC has allowed bursting of crackers for two hours on the occasion of Diwali, it made manufacturers and wholesalers happy. The business of firecrackers provides employment to many people in Rajasthan as well as India.
