Since Republic Day is around the corner, the Indian military forces have been put on high-alert in Rajasthan. The soldiers appointed around India Pakistan Border has received an intelligence input over possible infiltration of suicide bombers from the neighbouring country Pakistan. Therefore, the Indian military has braced itself for rigorous patrolling this month. Therefore, the two international borders in India have instructed to reinforce their security measures.

Indian Intelligence Dropped Hints at the Possibility of Terrorists Infiltrating the India Pakistan Border with Smuggled Loot

According to reliable sources, Indian officers have received inputs regarding certain anti-social elements planning to smuggle a consignment of dangerous explosives and heroin across the border. There are also rumours regarding terrorists planning attacks on the Indian public.

DIG Ravi Gandhi from Rajasthan Frontier reports the tough climatic conditions along the India Pakistan border. According to the DIG, intense geographical conditions, repeated ceasefire infiltrations and bitter cold climates impose a formidable challenge for the soldier. Terrorists often take advantage of this situation and try to enter the country on bad weather days.

Having received this information, the BSF has been alerted regarding the plans. Therefore, the Indian night curfew is taking extra precautions for night time vigilance. Additional security forces have been appointed in sensitive areas, especially those that are vulnerable to ceasefire violations. The soldiers have been provided with high-tech surveillance gadgets for vigilance. Even the BSF is about to start a precautionary operation named ‘Sard Hawa’ in the coming days.

When asked the BSF officers confirmed this news about increasing extra vigilance along the borders. They’ve said that the entire state has been alerted and the officers are regularly patrolling the areas. The officers are keeping tabs on shady looking forests, creaks and passage. The forces have imposed a curfew near Indian villages along the Pakistan border. No one is allowed to roam near the borders late at night. Strict instructions have been given to the officers. Anyone who is found violating the curfew or roaming under suspicious conditions will be shot at sight.

Keeping all this in mind, the army has deployed biometric devices for reinforcing border security. In the coming days, the entire Western front will conduct security exercise and observe strict vigilance to ensure that the country celebrates a happy and peaceful Republic Day.
