BJP-Gaurav-Yatra

Latest reports suggest that BJP, the ruling party of Rajasthan, is planning a Gaurav Yatra as a part of its public outreach drive across the state. The program scheduled to start in June is aimed at publicizing the work done by the Raje government in all 7 divisions of poll-bound Rajasthan across 200 constituencies.

There will be 7 teams in the Gaurav Yatra each having three ministers and they will tour different districts where they would interact with the public and tell them about the developmental work undertaken by the government and policies framed in the past 4 years of the BJP rule. Besides, the ministers will also take feedback from party workers.

Although the dates haven’t been decided yet the Yatra is likely to be carried out in June. Some names that will be a part of this drive include State Panchayati Raj Minister Rajendra Rathore, Road Transport Minister Yunus Khan, Industry Minister Rajpal Singh Shekhawat, Agriculture Minister Prabhulal Saini, Water Resource Minister Rampratap, Social Justice Minister Arun Chaturvedi and former BJP State President Ashok Parnami.

Apart from interacting with the party members and the public, the drive is also aimed at strengthening and improving the management of polling booths. The saffron party is going to take feedback on more than 51,000 polling booths across the state. For this, all the district heads have been asked to increase the activity of the booths and ensure that the common man is aware of the policies launched by the government.

Recently, a booth formation workshop was also organized whereby senior leaders were given the responsibility of five mandals. It was attended by Booth Vistaraks, state presidents, and state executive members.
