With more than 2 weeks passed after the Special investigation unit unearthed the offenders of exam paper leakage, the news is still doing rounds in the state of Rajasthan, especially in Hanumangarh, Bikaner and Jaipur. These areas were the prime locations from where this unscrupulous menace of leakage stemmed out.

As many as 12 exam papers were leaked on Whatsapp groups by offenders, thereby defeating the purpose of examinations and breaching exam rules.

Rajasthan Police played a key role in tracking down the real offenders of this perfidious act. The Rajasthan Police had been on the receiving end of a battery of complaints from concerned parents who were perturbed with the deteriorating picture of school examinations.

Due to unending complaints and grievances flowing in from several parents and students, the Rajasthan Police was instigated to monitor the situation closely. For this purpose, they constituted a special committee called a Special Operation Group (SOG).

When the committee sat down to investigate the matter, they first checked into the whatsapp images sent by various offenders spread across the state. On close examination, it was found that the images leaked the entire paper and was not a fluke.

The images contained actual question papers of M.Com. Final year (Bikaner University), BA geography paper and MA ABST papers (Rajasthan University). These papers were leaked a few days ahead of the final examinations which were slated to be conducted between April 5 and 13, 2017.

According to SOG IG Dinesh M N, these offenders followed a preset modulus operandi for crime. They got in touch with teachers who framed paper and approached them. They retrieved a copy of this paper and leaked it to students who paid expensive prices for the same.

Having collected all evidences, the police registered an FIR in this case and arrested all offenders. They’re investigating other reports of paper leaks in different universities, as well. Vigilance and quick action by Rajasthan police as well as state government exposed the biggest paper leak scam of all times.

Such a mishap is contrary to Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s undeterred efforts to reinforce Rajasthan education facility in state. This incident has put intense pressure on Rajasthan government which is now on it’s toes to eliminate such incidents from the ground level.

Smt. Raje constituted CM’s Advisory Council in, which was an additional wing of the ‘Rajasthan Vision 2020’, under which the government will impart quality education to all students of Rajasthan. The SOG and Advisory council gave a few suggestions which have considerably improved the quality of education in state since August 2014.

CM Raje has introduced a myriad of schemes for boosting education in the state. She is also highly inclined towards advancing girls education and empowerment in state. Schemes like Rajshree, Bhamashah and Shubhlakshmi have been initiated which apart from combating towards odds has also bolstered girl education, in more ways than one.
