Rajasthan state is making progress by leap and bounds. In fact, the state government has made several efforts for the overall development of the state. For enhancing agriculture in the state, government of Rajasthan has plans and many achievements have been made so far. Let’s have a look on developments made so far.

Parvan Bahuddaishiye Sichai Yojna
To ease agriculture in Baran, Jhalawar and Kota districts, Parvan Bahuddaishiye Sichai Yojna was designed. Under this yojna, potable water will be made available to 820 villages and irrigation water for 2 lac hectare of land. In year, 2016-17, Rs 700 crores were spent by state government under this yojna.

Dholpur Lift Project
Getting clearance to the long awaited Dholpur Lift Project will be helpful in development of the district. This ₹ 800 crores irrigation water project will begin in year 2017-18. Under this project, 114 villages of Dholpur and 176 villages of RajaKheda will get water for irrigation.

Other Announcements
State government has decided to make irrigation projects incorporating better technologies for water conservation.
Under Four Water Concept, work on 320 micro irrigation tank, 8 check dams, 50 micro storage tanks started. Out of which 269 were completed by January 2017 and ₹ 366 crores have been spent on the project.
To ease irrigation in Banswara, Pratapgarh and Udaipur, government has focused on development of canals in these districts.
