cow controversy in Rajasthan

Everyone knows Rajasthan is the first ever state in the country to form a separate ministry to look after the cows of the state – the Gaupalan Ministry. The basic motive of the ministry is to ensure the protection of the cows. The dedicated team under the leadership of Gaupalan Department’s Additional Director has lately found that the reason behind the continues deaths of the cows in a few districts of the state was because of the consumption of polythene and other inedible substances and slo becuse of extreme weakness in the blistering heat.

“No symptoms of communicable or seasonal diseases were found in the cows,” Shailesh Sharma, Director of Gaupalan Department, said here on Friday. Dr. Sharma said, “the cows in serious condition would be shifted to the Radhakrishna Gaushala in Sawai Madhopur for treatment.”

Now, keeping in mind the same concern, the government has deputed two teams of veterinarians from Sawai Madhopur and Dausa districts to look after and provided adequate treatment to the sick and ill cows. The government moved a step ahead and has posted a mobile medical unit in the same area.
