With very few months left to Rajasthan Assembly elections 2018, political parties are making all-out efforts to grab Rajasthan. To win in Rajasthan, Congress is also going to start Sankalp rallies in the state. It seems that Congress is chasing the strategy of BJP. BJP’s Vasundhara Raje is already on Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra while Congress will start its Sankalp rally on 24th August from Chittorgarh. Congress is holding Sankalp rallies to bring the people in the favour of the party and garner the votes. Know more.

Details of Sankalp Rally
Talking about the Sankalp rally, Congress party has chosen Udaipur division to embark its rally just like BJP. Even, this rally will be held at Sanwalia Dham near to Chittorgarh while Raje began her yatra from Charbhujanath temple at Rajsamand, Udaipur. On September 5, Congress would hold the next rally at Barmer, a part of Jodhpur division.

Congress says that they are holding one major Sankalp rally in each of the seven divisions while BJP is holding series of political rallies in each division. PCC chief Sachin Pilot, leader of opposition Rameshwar Dudi, AICC general secretaries Ashok Gehlot, C P Joshi, Jitendra Singh and Avinash Pande will address the rally.

Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra
Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has started Rajasthan Gaurav yatra on 4th August. Raje completed the first phase of her yatra on 10th August. Although she was supposed to start second phase of yatra, she postponed it due to ill–health of former late PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Now, she will begin her yatra in Jodhpur division from August 24 and will complete it by 2nd September.
