Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje’s Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra will be starting from August 4. The yatra will be completed in 40 days with 18 days break. This yatra is aimed at making Vasundhara Raje win in the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections 2018. This yatra will commence from Rajsamand’s famous Char Bhuja Ji Mandir followed by a public meeting in Kankroli. There are few changes made in the yatra. Get details about the yatra.

Rajasthan state convener of yatra and Home minister Gulab Chand Kataria shared that helicopters would be employed during the yatra. On August 5, CM Raje will use helicopter to reach Jhadol and Rishabhdev (both in Udaipur) as these are hilly areas. Apart from this, Raje would also not travel to 23 assembly constituencies of Jaipur division and 12 assembly constituencies of other six divisions.

The aim of this yatra is to reach out to the common public and to showcase the developmental works carried out by ruling BJP government. Raje and her party workers are highly excited for this yatra. It is the third time that she had started this yatra.

The yatra will not be held in one go, but, in phases. During Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra, there will be sub-yatra in 25 Lok Sabha region of the state. The yatra will be held in a special rath or chariot. On 4th August, BJP national president Amit Shah will commence the yatra from Pushkar, Ajmer while PM Narendra Modi will be present on conclusion of the yatra. The yatra will be ending on 30th September. In this yatra, divisions of Udaipur, Bharatpur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, Jaipur and Ajmer will be covered.
