In another major setback to the Congress in Rajasthan, leaders quit the grand old party and joined the BJP on Saturday.  Those who quit the party include former NSUI candidate Suryaprakash Dhaka and Congress leader Aslam Naru from Churu. Both have joined BJP along with their entire team.

As the election date is coming close, the Rajasthan Congress has been facing major shuffle and dents as unhappy leaders leaving the old house. Senior BJP Minister Rajendra Rathore has welcomed the ex-congress leaders by offering them BJP scarves in a welcome ceremony organized at minister’s bungalow. More than 50 supporters of Dhaka have joined the BJP today.

On this event, minister Rathore said that there is too much chaos in Congress house, which ends up in members quitting the party. Rathore said that Congress leaders are unhappy with the party’s mindset and dynasty. ‘Many Congress leaders, workers, including leaders from the minority community, are joining the BJP to support the candidates.’ he added.

Further, minister Rathore took a dig at Churu’s ex-MLA and said that when the leader gets in touch with the public only in election season, this happens. Disillusion occurs between the public and their leaders. In addition, Rathore declared that he will remain on his seat of Churu assembly in upcoming elections.
