The only Brahma temple in the world is situated at Pushkar, Rajasthan. Every year, the temple attracts plethora of worshippers offering prayers. Also, Pushkar fair is one renowned event in Rajasthan which is attended by many Indian and worldwide visitors. Keeping in consideration the increasing amount of visitors, the temple’s managing committee has decided to offer online booking facilities for visitors. With this, devotees will be able to book poojs appointment without any hassle. Also, an elevator will be installed for all the aged worshipers, so they don’t have to think twice before planning a darshan in temple. The surroundings will be groomed up with more trees and plants so that it creates a feel good environment. The last “mahant” of the temple died on January 12th and after that the state government handed over the task of maintenance to a managing committee which suggested all these changes in the temple.

Gaurav Goyal, the head of committee and district collector has mentioned that, “The problem is that there is about eleven hector of land for the main temple but most of the surrounding is encroached and developed for commercial purpose”.

The chief motive behind all beautification works of temple is to maintain the motivation of devotees for the temple area. As it is situated in Rajasthan and only Brahma Temple in the world, people want to come and worship but fear standing in long queues in extreme weather and scorching heat.

The provision of VIP and VVIP darshan criterion will also be added just like many other famous temples of the country. The committee mentioned that, “The money which will be charged from devotees for VIP and VVIP darshan will use to uplift the services and facilities to all devotees”. The Pushkar temple priest said that, “Brahma Temple is the only Temple in Pushkar and there is no other Temple of Lord Brahma in the world and therefore it is an important abode”.
