Rajasthan Government has Plans to Boost the Healthcare Sector

Shedding light on the Centre and state government’s ambitious projects, Nadda said that the Centre has selected about 70 medical colleges all over India. These colleges will be upgraded with advanced technologies.

In Rajasthan, a few hospitals and medical colleges located in Kota, Udaipur and Bikaner will be updated to super specialty centres. In the coming times, 50 tertiary cancer centres will be set up in the country. One of these will be set up in Bikaner.

Out of 58 selected medical colleges, 8 of the colleges that will be upgraded in future are located in Bharatpur, Alwar, Churu, Barmer, Dungarpur, Sikar, Pali and Bhilwara. Not only this, the government will also work on Deendayal Amrit shops wherein they’ll provide free medicals to the public at discount rates.

Other than the Centre, even the state government, headed by Rajasthan health minister Kalicharan Saraf are working on key factors to improve healthcare facilities in Rajasthan.
