Beautify Jodhpur While Maintaining Its Heritage Look –  CM Vasundhara Raje

On  December 17, CM Raje phrased that, Jodhpur is a historic and beautiful city. In her speech, she not only eulogized the city’s beauty but also asked to develop and adorn the city, while preserving its heritage look.

On Saturday, CM Raje addressed the review meeting of different departments held in Jodhpur police line auditorium. The speech went on 5 hours, in which  she discussed thoroughly and gave instructions about the beautification and development of Jodhpur city with related departments and agencies. During this, CM Raje also viewed presentations of Jodhpur Development Authority, Nagar Nigam and Jodhpur IIT.

CM Raje emphasised that, Jodhpur should be developed in a way that the historic beauty of the place remain unchanged. She stipulated that the different circles should be elaborated and beautified more. She promptly asked to pay special attention on the parks of Jodhpur and asked that the plants used should complement the city’s climate. Further, she also asked to do some surveillance on developed parks and gardens of the city. In the list of developments and constructions, she also asked to consider bus queue shelters and asked to maintain the heritage look in them.

She instructed to finish all the works within the allotted time frame. While reviewing the different water supply schemes, CM Raje remarked that water schemes are directly connected to people’s daily needs , hence they should be accomplished within the allotted time so that people do not face any unnecessary crunches. In Jodhpur DISCOM, CM Raje instructed to make developments in Chief Minister Electricity Reform, make improvements in different feeders and lessen theft in electricity. CM Raje also reviewed on the proposal for next phase of Rajiv Gandhi Lift Canal.

CM Raje also reviewed the enhancement works, Parliamentary Developmental works, Prime Minister Housing Scheme, which will be executed with MLA treasury. She also instructed for the 2nd phase of ODF (Open-defecation free) and MJSA (Mukhyamantri Jal Swawlamban Abhiyan).

CM Raje strictly instructed to complete the tasks of city beautification and cleaning before republic day celebration of Jodhpur. She reviewed sewerage and water logging and door to door collection scheme.

CM Vasundhara Raje prominently instructed to finish the task of Jodhpur-Ramdevra road. She mentioned to finish all the task before the arrival of Ramdevra fair.
