Apple environment expert visited Ajmer

Lisa P Jackson, Apple’s vice president of environment, policy and social initiatives, was in Rajasthan while Tim Cook was Mumbai.

 She was here to visit the ‘solar mamas’ and one school named The Barefoot Collge in Tilonia in Ajmer distict where the teachers teach their students via ipads. The Barefoot College trains rural women in assembling and manufacturing solar lamps, hence called “solar mamas.”

Jackson is the one who directly reports to Tim Cook. On Thursday she also tweeted the gist of her trip saying, “Powerful: Visiting amazing solar mamas in Rajasthan and visiting a school using iPads to teach. @BarefootCollege,”
